Dear Brother Friars,

 

As we continue our journey of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we are excited to welcome you to our October gathering on Friday, October 4th, at St. John Maron Church in the City of Orange. October is Pro-Life Month, and this First Friday is particularly special as we reflect on the dignity and sanctity of all human life.

 

Our featured guest speaker is Kathleen Domingo, Executive Director of the California Catholic Conference and a dedicated leader in the pro-life movement. Kathleen's extensive work advocating for life, justice, and peace in California is renowned. She has spearheaded initiatives like OneLife LA,one of the largest pro-life events in the nation, and her expertise in issues ranging from abortion and foster care to end-of-life ministry is truly inspiring.

- 12:45 - 2:00 PM: Lunch and Keynote Speaker, Kathleen Domingo

- 2:00 - 2:30 PM: Q&A, Raffle, and Fraternal Fellowship

 

In honor of 40 Days for Life and the broader pro-life initiatives this month, Kathleen will address the critical role of Catholic advocacy in protecting life at all stages. Her insights on how we, as Catholics, can engage in public life to defend the voiceless will be invaluable.

 

Kathleen brings a wealth of experience, holding a Master’s in Theology from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute and leading many impactful programs for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, including the Office of Life, Justice, and Peace.  We look forward to hearing about her journey and the important work of the California Catholic Conference.
